Kibby Dinners

kib-be or kib-beh (kib'e)n. (Ar Kubba) a spicy Syrian croquette like meat made with ground round and chuck, cracked wheat, onions, salt, pepper, cumin, mint and hot peppers, baked, fried or sometimes eaten raw.

In the early 1960's after Father Nick Abraham came to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, a few women got together to make kibbies and sold them by the dozen to members of our church to help with our budget. The Kibby dinner is always the Thursday before Mardi Gras. Come join us for lunch or dinner at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. We hope to see you there!
